Project Overview

In line with Besmark Coffee Ltd’s expansion goals, Potec Technical Services Ltd was commissioned to deliver a complete infrastructure package that included structural building construction and bulk coffee storage system setup. The goal was to improve post-harvest storage efficiency, enhance working space, and strengthen the company’s processing infrastructure.

What We Delivered

1. Structural House Construction

We constructed a well-designed, durable facility that serves multiple purposes:

• Administrative offices for staff and operations
• Storage areas for tools and supplies
• Utility rooms for handling post-harvest processes

Built with reinforced concrete and quality roofing materials, the structure was designed for stability, longevity, and day-to-day functionality. The layout ensures a practical flow between storage and management operations.

2. Silo Fabrication & Erection

Potec custom-fabricated steel silos designed specifically for bulk coffee storage:

• Made from high-grade galvanized steel
• Equipped with ventilation and moisture control systems
• Optimized for both raw and semi-processed coffee storage
• Modular design for future capacity expansion

All components were built in-house by our fabrication team and transported to the site for assembly.

3. On-Site Installation

Our technicians carried out:

• Ground preparation and foundation setting
• Silo erection with proper alignment and safety fittings
• Installation of access ladders, loading/unloading ports, and inspection doors
• Testing for structural integrity, airflow, and sealing

This turnkey solution ensured the silos were fully functional and operational on delivery.
